We’d seen Zebby Road, the zebra I really didn’t want to miss, and, although I’d originally planned a far longer zebra hunt, I really wanted to go home and see Commando. The news that his injury was far worse than he’d thought was a shock and he’d sounded very down in the dumps on the phone. A cat burglar and a rhino reprise – first published 12 October 2013

When I heard someone moving about the house in the middle of the night in October 2013 it was one of two things. Either the cat burglar was back, or there was a real burglar in the house. The rhino hunt gets a little messy – first published 10 August 2013

In front of the Guildhall the rhino trail suddenly stopped being logical and I could no longer simply walk from one rhino to the next if I wanted to see them in order. Either I’d have to walk back and forth, passing some more than once and taking far longer than I’d have liked, or I’d have to look at them out of sequence. It seemed like a good time for a little break and maybe some coffee while I decided. Unfortunately, when I went back to the cafe, it was packed with other rhino hunters so a drink would have to wait.
