The first week of April was also the first week of my change to the early shift. It felt a little strange to be getting up at five fifteen on a Wednesday morning, rather than six thirty, more like my Saturday shift which has been an early start for a while now. Some times things don’t go to plan. We all have the odd minor disaster from time to time and once in a while, if we’re unlucky, a major one. Often a disaster can turn out to be a blessing in disguise, even if it takes a while for that to become clear.
